South of the M4 - Shinfield, Spencers Wood and Three Mile Cross

New Development Area

In Shinfield Parish, the villages of Shinfield, Spencers Wood and Three Mile Cross are being extended and together comprise one of our major development areas.

There will be homes, a district centre with a supermarket and community centre, a neighbourhood centre, two new primary schools, new playing fields and open spaces, and new roads which includes the Shinfield Eastern Relief Road. The University of Reading has built the Thames Valley Science and Innovation Park which is accessed from the Shinfield Eastern Relief Road.
