South Western Railway
South West Railway (SWR) are now offering its customers a new flexi season ticket which will offer their customers more flexibility - enabling people to travel on any eight days in a 28-day period - and could lead to financial savings.

Great Western Railway
Great Western Railway (GWR) are now offering its customers a new flexi season ticket. Traditional season tickets will remain the most cost-effective option for those travelling at peak times four days a week or more, but the Flexi season, which offers eight days travel in any 28, provides a minimum of 20% saving against a monthly season ticket for those travelling twice a week at peak times.
GWR have a dedicated page on their website here where customers can check prices, order smart cards and also read about how to use the new product. It is important when checking prices that customers select dates from the 28th June.

PLUSBUS
If you are coming to Reading Station by train and want to continue your journey by bus, a PLUSBUS ticket may save you money. PLUSBUS tickets can be used on the bus to the station if bought in advance but cannot be purchased on the bus.
Fares
Adult day: £3.70 (Child £2.20, Railcard holder £2.40);
Season tickets: 7-day £16, month £59, three months £160, year £605 (subject to alteration). Child fares: 40% of adult season ticket fares).
Area covered
Tickets are valid from Reading Station on services operated by Reading Buses to any point within the urban area, (Lion 4/X4 as far as Loddon Bridge, Leopard 3 and 10 and Greenwave as far as Shinfield Park) and Courtney Buses 128/129 to any point within the urban area. A Reading PLUSBUS ticket is valid on routes which operate 24 hours such as the Claret 21. They are not valid on football/rugby specials or Park & Ride services.
