Wokingham Bikeathon will be taking place on Sunday, 30th June 2019 at Cantley Park, Wokingham, RG40 5QG.
The Wokingham Bikeathon is a family-friendly event which also raises money for good causes. The Bikeathon was originally set up to encourage people to get out on their bikes, enjoy the local area and visit Wokingham. It has, however, also become a successful vehicle to help people fundraise for charities of their choice.
Wokingham Bikeathon is a not for profit organisation run by volunteers and supported by local businesses, charities and organisations including My Journey Wokingham. Run by a small committee headed up by Stan Hetherington, the event first ran in 2008 with just 143 riders and has gone from strength to strength attracting entry numbers nearing a thousand over recent years.
There are two routes one is 15 miles and the other is 35 miles. Entries cost £20.00 for adults; £15.00 for 17-12 year olds and under 12's are free!
Registration will open from 1st March 2019.
For further information about the Bikeathon including details of the two routes or to register please visit their Facebook page.
