Air Quality Hero Competition

We are delighted to announce that we have chosen the winners for our Air Quality Hero Competition. Open to Primary School aged children in Wokingham, we asked the students to invent their own air quality superheroes. Once they had come up with the design and what powers they had, they were asked to write a story involving their character.

We received so many great submission for this competition. Some of the heroes acted on their own, some in a squad of pollution fighters all with their own unique powers. Some transformed into different guises, such as the Superpea, and others looked exactly the same, but had the hero’s instincts within. As you can guess, judging was very difficult, children in this Borough being so creative.

Four winners were eventually chosen, two for both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.  Joshua and Layla both got 1st prize in their categories and George got second in Key Stage 1.  You can see pictures of the winners below with their prizes.

Thank you to everyone who took part and keep an eye on our website and social media pages for new competitions!
