Bike Event at Asda

My Journey team supported a neighbourhood police event at Asda, Lower Earley on a chilly morning on Sunday 4 November.  We encamped outside the mall with community engagement offering free security marking as well as bike checks with Dr Bike, and hi-vis freebies and advice on alternative travel under Evie’s awning as rainclouds loomed!

A successful couple of hours followed with the queue for the bike services ever growing and sadly we had to turn a couple of people away because the ink for the security marking ran out!  Luckily for them, our next event is on Saturday 17 November at Morrisons, Woosehill, 10-12 so they won’t miss out.  27 bikes in total were security marked at the event and most also needed bike checks to keep them in good conditions for riding in the inclement weather.
