Get your Coat

The brand now mobile phone app which provides intelligent travel planning, reminders and support for a great day or night out.

What makes a great night, great? Is it the get together? The altogether? A great night out is one you can repeat. Get Your Coat is a brand new and unique mobile phone app which provides intelligent travel planning, reminders and support for a night out on the town.

Last year alone there were 28 people killed or seriously injured on the road in Berkshire connected with alcohol, and while these numbers have been declining over the long term, alcohol consumption and abuse remains one of the most serious concerns for public health and safety, both on and off of the road.

With that, today we launch a brand new mobile phone application designed to help get you home safely. Working with multiple interested partners, the app focuses on what we call the night time economy, covering a wide range of issues all too often associated with the consumption of alcohol.

Get Your Coat the travel companion app that plans your night out from going out to getting back and everything in between.

The drinks tracker allows you to keep track of your own alcohol consumption to try encourage a healthier lifestyle, helping you to keep track of how many units you’re consuming and how that translates into calories, and how many steps it would take to burn it off. It will also remind you when you have reached your recommended daily or weekly allowance of alcohol (As defined by the UK Chief Medical Officer).

The app is available for both iphone and android and is free. Click on the getyourcoat app which will link to the app store listing for each phone.
