Halloween Treasure Hunt Prize Giving

We are pleased to announce the winners from our Halloween Treasure Hunt which was run over the October half-term.

The Halloween Treasure Trail was a joint effort between My Journey and the Community Engagement Team, this was a challenge for families to take part in together. From Monday 26th October to Sunday 31st October, 12 different spooky images were placed around California County Park and Heath Lake, each marked with a QR code. Each of these codes gave the clue to a puzzle to try and solve a riddle.

We were delighted with the number of responses we got back, 32 families in all sending answers to our riddle. The winners were then contacted and most were able to attend a prize giving last Wednesday with the Mayor Malcolm Richards, just before lockdown. The winners were Evalyn, Jack, Matilda, Hettie, Kenzea, Kelvin and Owen (last two not pictured).

All of the winners received a lovely gift bag kindly provided by Tesco, thanks to their Community Champion Louise Jedras.

For those curious the answers are listed below:

Charlie: Train

Fatima: Bus

Olivia: Walking

Yusuf: Scooting

Sean: Cycling

Molly: Jogging

Remember to keep an eye on our Facebook page, and our website for news and information on  competitions and activities!

Congratulations to our winners and thank you to everyone who sent in entries.
