Road Rangers Louis Taylor Road Safety Show.jpg

Road Ranger joins Louis Taylor's Road Safety Roadshow

Troy the smallest “road ranger” joins Louis Taylor road safety shows!

During the summer term, an exciting new addition is coming to schools with the Louis Taylor road safety shows.  Louis Taylor is an entertainer who has been running road safety workshops for children for many years. He uses a variety of ways to get important road safety messages across including magic, drama and puppets.  The nursery/foundation show has a new puppet, Troy (the smallest road ranger) along with a story from our Road Rangers story book (aimed at pre-school age).

The Road Rangers story book is for new starters, foundation or pre-schools/nurseries to support early years road safety education.  With stories and characters the children can relate to in real life with walking and crossing roads, scooting and wearing seat belts.  As well as the stories, the book has activity pages to complete and every child takes home a copy as well as a colouring sheet of Troy!

Feedback from one school said: “Louis does a fantastic job in the way he engages the children and how he illustrates the most important aspects of road safety.  Many schools feel pressurised not to spend necessary but valuable time on those soft/life skills.  A wonderful interaction and much appreciated by the children.  Well done!”

Louis Taylor will be touring Wokingham schools for a week in April and again later in the autumn term.
