St Paul's pupil wins 'Air Quality Banner Competition'

A pupil from St Paul’s Junior School has won the Air Quality Banner Competition.

Primary school pupils across Wokingham Borough were asked to design a new banner to be displayed at Wokingham level crossing and Twyford Crossroads to encourage drivers to turn their engines off when stationary.

By turning our engines off when stationary, we can all help improve the air quality of the local area.  Wokingham station and Twyford crossroads were chosen, as they are key parts of our air quality management areas and the banners will be viewed by a lot of people.

The winning design was chosen for its eye catching and positive message.

Congratulations to our winner and thank you to everyone who sent in entries!
