Wescott Pupil Wins 'Bling your Scooter' Competition

A pupil from Wescott Infant School has won our third and final competition of this school year to win a brand new Microscooter.  Pupils attending primary schools across Wokingham Borough were invited to decorate their scooters and bikes and submit photographs of the finished product, as part of our activities to promote sustainable travel during the coronavirus pandemic.

Pupils from 7 schools submitted entries showing their blinged up bikes and scooters.  All the entries we received were very colourful and creative and we loved each one.  We saw lots of bright stickers, sparkly gems, flags and streamers, to name just some of the creative ways pupils decorated their wheels.

We had lots of fun looking at everyone’s work and it was really difficult to choose a winner, but the pupil with the winning design really did a fantastic job of blinging up their scooter.

Be sure to keep an eye out for future My Journey activities and competitions.

Congratulations to our winner and thank you to everyone who sent in entries.
