WIWAG World Mental Health Day
My Journey team joined the WIWAG world mental health day event on Wednesday, 10th October at Cantley Park Hotel to engage with those attending about the known benefits of cycling (and walking) for mental health and wellbeing (as well as being a great alternative sustainable mode of transport).
Our smoothie bike caused much interest and a few brave souls peddled away for their healthy fruit smoothie (in competition with the naughty cream tea being offered!). We enlightened several people about our My Journey offerings in general and made the day for one lady who had been looking for both cycle training and group rides to boost her confidence and return to the saddle! Cycling certainly rates up there with yoga and meditation in terms of a healthy body and mind.
