Wokingham Without free bike event at Pinewood Activity Centre

On Saturday 22nd September, on a rather wet morning, 15 adults and 8 children made their way to the Pinewood Centre to attend the  joint event run by My Journey, the Council’s Community Engagement team and the local police.

Free bike checks by Doctor Bike were on offer as well as free bike security marking. Several people also had a go at making a smoothie on the pedal-powered Smoothie bike,  whilst others were given information and advice on sustainable travel, cycling and cycle training.

The photo shows Cllr Pauline Helliar-Symons, Exec Member for Children’s Services having a go on the smoothie bike at the My Journey stand.
