Adult Led Guided Rides aimed at beginners and returners to cycling

In preparation for the Wokingham Bikeathon on 22 June 2025, we are pleased to advertise some guided cycle rides aimed at beginners and those returning to cycling.  All rides are led by an experienced British Cycling guided ride leader and are no drop rides, going at the pace of the slowest rider.

To take part, you must be able to cycle, have a roadworthy bike and wear a cycling helmet. 

The ride series has been developed to increase your cycling distance on firstly cycleways then the series continues to build up your cycling mileage and introduces more rides on quiet roads with traffic.

These rides are free, for adults only and start at various locations throughout the borough where there is free parking.
