Earth Day 2026: Our Power, Our Planet

Earth Day is a global annual event held on every year on 22 April and is dedicated to raising awareness on environmental issues such as pollution, climate change, biodiversity loss, and sustainability.

This year’s theme - “Our Power, Our Planet” - highlights how we can all make a real difference by taking simple, everyday actions that protect our environment.

Families, community groups, workplaces and individuals are encouraged to get involved through activities such as community cleanups, tree planting, local workshops, and small at‑home sustainability steps, all of which help build healthier neighbourhoods and teach us the value of environmental care.

To celebrate Earth Day we will be launching our primary schools' competition where we will be asking pupils to create a futurist mode of transportation - more details to follow on Earth Day.
