Why walk, cycle or scoot to school

Walking or cycling are great ways to travel to school.  They have benefits for you and your child’s health and for the environment.  They are cheap and help reduce congestion.

Many pupils live within a reasonable walking or cycling distance to their school. To see how you can travel to school without a car, please look at the active travel map for planning your routes to school which can be found under Related Downloads
